Why did He wait until the 4th watch?  Why didn't He step in earlier?  Why did He let them keep working? I imagine Jesus watching them the whole time, sustaining them in unseen ways, proud of their efforts.  He could see their growth right before His eyes.  Jesus wasn't just watching, but He was praying for them: "I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not" (Luke 22:32). 

The winds in your life are not random, and your storms are not meaningless. Every gust, every wave, every moment you feel tossed about, is moving you closer to a place God has already prepared for you. Your promised land is greater than you can imagine. So, take heart, keep moving forward in faith, and never forget: the wind does not cease to blow you towards your promised land.

The price we pay to become acquainted with God is a privilege. My trials are not signs of abandonment; they are invitations. In every hardship, my Heavenly Parents and the Savior walk with me. They do not leave me to carry my burdens alone.
