Thank you for visiting website and my blog, In Relentless Pursuit of Christ. This space is born from a deep desire to share my faith, thoughts, and experiences as a believer in Jesus Christ. It is a place where individuals from all walks of life, at any stage in their spiritual journey, can come together to learn, share, and grow.

My Journey of Faith

I choose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My journey has been enriched by the teachings of Jesus Christ, the experiences of serving as a missionary in Russia, and the opportunity to connect with people of diverse faiths and beliefs throughout the world. I firmly believe that we, as God’s children, have more in common than we have differences. Our shared desire for purpose, understanding, and connection with the Divine as we teach and support our family unites us.

What I Believe

I believe in Heavenly Parents who love us unconditionally and desire a personal relationship with each of us. They have provided us with scripture, prophets, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit to help us draw closer to them and to help us navigate through life. I study both the Bible and The Book of Mormon, two sacred texts that illuminate God’s plan for us and testify of Jesus Christ’s role as our Savior and Redeemer. I also study other works of scripture.

Throughout history, God calls prophets to share His word and guide His children - to help His children want a relationship with Them. Just as He spoke to Moses, Isaiah, Peter, and Nephi, He speaks to us today through living prophets and apostles. Their messages remind us that our lives are just as valuable in God’s eyes as those of ancient times. I incorporate their teachings into my spiritual study.

More than anything, I believe in a God who actively seeks us. Our Heavenly Parents and Jesus Christ are in relentless pursuit of each of us, drawing us to Them with love and grace. They love with a love that cannot and will not end - No Matter What. And in turn, my invitation is for us to relentlessly pursue Them through prayer, study, service, and faith.

I recognize the presence of an adversary, a being who seeks to sabotage our faith, happiness, family, peace, and well-being. I call this being Satan. He is in direct opposition to Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Parents. We go to battle every day as Satan and Jesus Christ both try to lead and influence us in different ways. We face battles in our relationships, in our beliefs, in health, employment, and more. I apply some of the principles I’ve learned through life experiences as a disciple of Jesus Christ, during 26 years of military service, being a parent, and through scripture to help me choose to follow Jesus.

• Scripture Studies: Insights gained from my practice of capturing quotes, studying related scriptures, and exploring the truths they reveal.

I want this to be a community where we uplift one another. Let’s celebrate the truths that unite us, honor the unique perspectives we each bring, and grow together in our understanding of God’s love and purpose for our lives.
